How do creatures

Give thanks to their Creator?

How can beneficiaries 

Thank their benefactors?

For we have your thanks

Streaming in our hands

Your honour brimming 

In our hearts with thanks

Too low voices we have

To blow glories you deserve

We commission a cock

Not an ordinary cock

But a divine cock

A cock that can glow

Crow and blow

Our thanks to you

At dawn tomorrow

Before the cock's crow

Receive our story
